Il Centro Internazionale

di Studi e Documentazione per la Cultura Giovanile

The iSDC was originally founded within the Humanities Department of the University of Trieste in March 2013 as the result of an intense cooperation between university professors and private and public institutions, and supported by the regional government. The goal was the creation of international projects for young people.

The Centre’s actions have developed by offering young people, as privileged subjects of dialogue and change, a space of expression and expansion of their values by supporting the World Youth Forum Right to Dialogue (already promoted by the Association Poetry and Solidarity since 2008), focusing on the historical-cultural profiles of contemporary issues and on the relationships between cultures and scientific paradigms.

In 2015 the iSDC became a nonprofit association whose main goal is research.
