The International Study

and Documentation Centre for Youth Culture

The International Study and Documentation Centre for Youth Culture (iSDC) is a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting, collecting, selecting, publishing and archiving products of youth culture in all fields of knowledge, welcoming and comparing different approaches and languages.

Our mission is promoting open and constructive confrontation on complex topics originating from youth culture and modern times, outlining their cultural-historical profiles in an ever changing scene.

The iSDC promotes dialogue between genders and generations and between science, knowledge and culture: in this process young people as protagonists of change.

Alongside specific knowledge in the humanities or in science the iSDC values open, wide and multidisciplinary visions aimed at singling out new interrelations and paradigms on both a local and global scale.

Through its actions the iSDC encourages synergies between different actors, helping participants develop professional and operative skills which can be firmly rooted in a planning and strategic perspective.

The iSDC allows its associates to promote their professional profiles and their actions according to their own values.

Recognized internships are available at the Centre.

iSDC makes available IT tools in order to facilitate and enable access to archived documents, in order to encourage their diffusion.
